BABMA Scholarship
Investing in the Next Generation of Artists
BABMA is proud to support the next generation of musicians and performing artists through our scholarship program. This year, we plan to award three scholarships, with the possibility of up to five awards to deserving students pursuing their education and passion in music or the performing arts.
Required Essay
As part of the application, applicants will be asked to respond to the following:
“What has been the greatest influence that inspired you to pursue music or the arts, and how do I hope to use your talents to inspire and impact the world?”

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
Minimum GPA: 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher.
Community Service: Demonstrated participation in volunteer service through school, church, civic organizations, or the local community.
High School Seniors: Graduating seniors planning to pursue a major or career in music or the performing arts, including vocal performance, instrumental music, drama, dance, or related disciplines.
College Students: Currently enrolled and matriculating in a music, music education, performing arts, or related program.
Single-Parent Household: Preference may be given to students raised in or currently residing in a single-parent household.
